Do you know anyone who won some money then died? Are you scared to do things on Friday the 13th because of superstition? Do you believe in god and heaven and hell? Well these are all urban legends that people believe is right. An urban legend is somewhat like a myth, it is a story coming down from the past. One urban legend is when a man wins the biggest jackpot it 25 year he dies right after. Also Friday the 13th being a bad or a cursed day. An when scientists thought they found hell under Siberia.


A man wins the biggest jackpot megabucks in 25 years an dies soon after, it says that he could have died from a over dose, at the a hotel, or a plane crash, but this is a myth. It shows that the man is still alive living a rich life an didn’t actually die. Also he won 39,710,826.36 dollars in the Excalibur casino where two other people hit for millions soon after. They say it would be easy to see a mega bucks winner dead in the media because of its irony.

In addition to megabucks winner death, there is also a myth about Friday the 13th. They say that the day is cursed and everything bad happens on this day but this theory is unclassified. It is because of the significant events in christen tradition said to have taken place on this day. It was also said to be unlucky so people wont get married, give birth, move, start a new job or harvest on this day.


In addition to the myth of Friday the 13th, scientists were drilling a hole in Siberia an think they found hell. They say they heard screams of damned drifted up to them, this theory is false. They say if there is a hell under Siberia, the scientist have not found it, Those who did the drilling only said they heard screams from hell to scare those who didn’t believe in god or heaven an hell and to make those believers.

I think games have a big effect on people everyday lives because people see it on the games an think they could try it just like the people in the game.An movies influence peoples lives because in the movies people dont realize that they are acting an its not real an people think sents they can do it people think they can just like scareface, people think if they sale drugs like he did they think that they could do it to an get rich.

the five that stood out the most was the one that had oprah in it, an the one with the man riding the fish,an the lady riding the motercycle, an o.j time cover image, an the shark attack.But the one that stand out the most is the picture of the man rideing the big fish.this one stood out the most to me because it seems unlikely for a man to be riding a fish that is bigger than him an it looks like he is trying to eat it.I think that it has been altered alot to place a man on top of a huge fish.also the fish looks like it wants to eat him an i dont think they could get somebody to do that.

the key concept i understand the most is the key concept number 1 because it is easy to see that the media wants people to buy there product so sometime they lie to get that to happen.also they promise things that will not or can not happen to you like tell you that there product will make your hair longer when it dont.

i enjoy listen to rap music because i feel like i can relate to what they be talking about an where they coming from.An i feel like i might be goin through the same thing as they might.An some times i just listen to it just for the beat or because the person im listen to can rap.sometimes if its cold to listen to it could make u feel better or make you feel like you are not alone in what you goin through.

the superbowl

I think the adds in the superbowl was made to make people remember there product an was made to be funny.Also i think they represent the wrong image to little kids that is watching the superbowl because they are trying to get people to drink beer an talking about how u should "drink responsibly" but are not telling you that u shouldnt drink beer because it is bad for you.also they try to convence people to buy things that they dont really need but they try to make it seem like you need it.

compare of the two movies

The movie killing us softly was about how the magizines an the public view women an how they have to show a body part or have to look sexy to be noticed.The movie tough guys was about how men have to be the dominate race an that if they are "soft" they are reconized as gay,soft,or an pussy an that is how boys/men is tought to think an do.They are similar because they both talk about how women are treated by men an other people an the role of women.Also how men are supose to "control" women an how men look at women.
